Buy this book… the best of its class I have ever seen and Soft Targets WILL be attacked!

The timing of this book could, quite literally, not be better. Just two days ago, Feb 3, 2015, Fox News reported, "ISIS, Al Qaeda calling for ‘soft-target’ terrorism". And this book will help every 'average' Jane and Joe Citizen get ready to prepare to effectively take action to improve their safety and that of their loved ones. In this context that improved safety might really mean their very survival!
As a former member of the military, an EMT, law enforcement officer and senior law enforcement instructor I can scarcely imagine a better 'first step' book for those who have questions about safety and survival. One of the ways that I give back in my community is volunteering to teach women about self-defense and firearms. While this book will be valuable to persons of either sex in my professional opinion it will be incredibly well received among those who perhaps have not really engaged over the too often scary/formidable challenge of starting the journey to understanding and addressing personal safety in today's dangerous world.
One of the best attributes about this book is its super-practical approach; it not only opens the reader's eyes and mind to threats it also provides EXTREMELY practical guidance of what to do next!
In that sense this book is not just for those who are early in their prepper/self-protection journey. I have known many very experienced persons -- some in high places in Government protection circles -- who should be forced to read this book until they commit to memory the immediate action tips it contains!!
Buy this book and after you have read it share it with a loved one in your life… your spouse, your child, etc. You will be glad you did.

Critical thinking

Clearly this author has done his homework. His approach is informative and educational. Every American who values his Freedom and wants to maintain it needs to read this book to learn how to Make A Plan. We can't rely on government. We have to be vigilant in our SELF Defense of that freedom.

One Woman's Opinion

Mr. Marks has done a fine job of developing increased awareness of safety issues which we all probably know and pay little attention to. I am very grateful for BRACE FOR IMPACT!! For myself, I am an older woman, raised in the country and very familiar with independence and care for my family and my home. HOWEVER, like many folks, I admit I had become comfortable and rather complacent regarding my personal safety plans. I have just finished reading this book for the second time. Because of the content of this book I have taken careful stock of the layout of my home, have re-visited my safety plans, double checked on locks and defense methods that will offer me increased security and comfort. This book is clearly written, factual, insightful, and I heartily recommend it for people who care to stay safe and teach these principles to their family members and friends. GREAT book !!!
